Rose Webb and Linda McKelvey have donated a tree to the dog park.  It is a Royal Poinciana tree (botanical name: Delonix Regia). This tree is native to Madagascar and often called the “flame tree”.  Rose grew this tree from seeds from Key Largo and it is only about 5 ft tall now.  When it matures, it will provide beautiful shade to the park and brilliant blooms.  (see photo)  We think it will be a great addition to the park.  We have donated and John Bakle has planted this tree in memory of all of our best furry friends that are gone but not forgotten.
